The vet thinks we've got the dose right on her med now. She was such a good girl for the technicians, even after being in an accident. (She was in her carrier, which was seatbelted in, so she wasn't hurt).

Thanks for asking! The Cat Bastethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08766507614966971022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-509324054948808269.post-65964048520127984092011-10-12T16:14:05.984-04:002011-10-12T16:14:05.984-04:00@Cathy - sorry about your fender-bender. I was taking Sophie to the vet for a thyroid check. We were sitting at a red light and she made some kind of distressed sound I'd never heard before. I was so startled, that my food slipped from the brake to the gas and I smacked the car in front of us. Totally my fault and the first time I've ever caused an accident or gotten points on my license.

Thank God no one was hurt and our car wasn't damaged (but I did break the tail light and dent the bumper of the other car). The cop and my insurance company reminded me that that's why they're called "accidents." The insurance adjustor said he's seen people total their cars because a bee or a spider flew in the window. Now, that I can understand! The Cat Bastethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08766507614966971022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-509324054948808269.post-38387170782957846742011-10-09T13:51:00.162-04:002011-10-09T13:51:00.162-04:00Yu're right, Geri. I'm working hard to forgive myself -- NOT to excuse myself, but to forgive.

Hopefully I learned a big lesson out of this, and maybe someone else who saw me learned something, too.Fran Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01230580828240178414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-509324054948808269.post-70974980932515766062011-10-09T13:31:36.539-04:002011-10-09T13:31:36.539-04:00risitnemWow, Fran, I'm so glad that no one was...risitnemWow, Fran, I'm so glad that no one was hurt.
