December 25th will be eight years since Biscuit, my very first cat, died. And today, the 23rd, I’m missing Panther, who died in my arms this day in 2008.
I promise not to mention my late cats on Christmas day, but I just wanted to get this yearly December sadness out of my system before then.
Thank you for letting me cry on your (virtual) shoulder.
BEEattitude for Day #437:
Blessed are those who mourn for those they loved, for their tears shall wash away their sadness.

Part of Christmas is remembering loved ones who are no longer with us. Hug the kitties who are with you and tell them all about Biscuit and Panther.
Hugs,
Cathy AJ
You're right, Cathy. I've been hugging them a lot this morning.
We lost our beloved Jack Sparrow & Biggie this year - not a day goes by that we don't miss them; they were loved by us every day we were blessed to have them with us. And, like you, we hug and spoil their children every day.
There's something so very special about our animal friends. All that love, gift-wrapped in fur. What could be better?
